Last Feed The Need

Today was the last day for feed the need.  We had a special guest come to visit us at school, Mr Frank Bunce.  Frank Bunce grew up in Mangere and played rugby for the Mangere clubs.  He later played for the New Zealand All Blacks.
Frank Bunce said that Leabank was one of the most well behaved schools he had been too so well done Leabank.
Afterwards room 13 went back to class to eat some yummy beef stew packed full of yummy vegies!

The Miraculous Machine By Teresa

The Miraculous Machine


The old flying machine was brown and was built with wood.It had wings.It had rusty equipment on it, the owner Steve was so proud of it. The old flying machine was very tall and had a pirate ship steering wheel. It was very dusty. It had very big old wheels. The wings were strong and fapped in the wind. It was the most amazing thing anyone has built. It was remarkable. When it took off it made a chugging noise chuga chuga chuga and it few like a fast fish swimming in the ocean.  It smelt like old rusty cutlery and ragged old wood. It felt like a dusty cardboard box smooth and bumpy at the same time. It was unusual.and his flying machine,

The Rusty Machine


The very old rusty machine was flying. It was made by Brandon J. He made a machine that could fly. It had a big wing. It smelt like oli. It is shiny it sounds like a lion. And it leaves a track of smoke.I named it red x. It can go aster. Than a cheetah and a loin. It got to my home in 3 minutes. It need some smoke to work. It has a chair and a steering wheel.

Welcome to Room 13 Blog

Room 13 has had a few changes this term.
We have had a few students leave and two new students arrive and a new teacher.

A big about our new Teacher:

Miss Prentice has been teaching in Mangere for 7 years now, and while she has taught in a range of year levels she has primarily taught year 3 and 4.
